Sculpture
Sagara Nataraja
(
1
)
/ Description
An underwater sculpture using the novel biorock method for coral regeneration. The 7ft wrought iron circle, grafted with a crown of living coral, references ancient Hindu depictions of 'Dancing Shiva,' who dances in bliss through cosmic cycles of creation and destruction. Viewers swimming within the structure embody Nataraja, merging art and ecological restoration.
